How can I make the most of my material? How do I go from open mics to booked rooms to comedy festivals? Delve deeper into the world of stand-up comedy with a class designed to stretch your skills. Develop your comedic voice and discover new ways to find the funny with more challenging exercises and more intricate critique. Expand your tool-set to discover ways to get the crowd loving every moment of your act.

This course will have a stronger focus on writing, developing material, experimenting with styles and discovering your voice. Students will be encouraged to also make time for writing throughout the week to get the most from their class experience. 

This course is for students who have completed Stand Up 1: Fundamentals.

This class runs for eight weeks: eight classes followed by a grad show on the weekend of the eighth week. 

Registration is $490 / $460 concession. Price includes a 7.8 percent non-refundable booking fee.
