Pure Comedy is the third studio album (Improv show) by folk musicians (Comedians) Ruby Blinkhorn and Kate Wilkins under their pseudonym Father John Misty.

Fresh off the back of a sell-out international tour (winning the Cagefight Comedy Grand Final and headlining Scary Strangers), this American-ish indie duo are bringing sardonic meditations on the modern conditions of life (improvised tales and laughs) to ITS Comedy Festival.

With hits like ‘Total Entertainment Forever’ and ‘Ask an audience member for their name, life story and dream and we’ll create an improvised musical that’ll make you wet your pants’, Father John Misty are a must see.

Stories! Melodies! Anarchy! Oh my! is cheeky, musical, character based scenic improvisation. Three mischief makers (Lady Fingers) improvise vocal music to inform scene work, multiple characters and abundant laughs. Storylines may cross, characters may disappear or return in this fun adventure into acappella music, clowning, playfulness and delight. Oh my!
