Lines of Best Fit
‘Lines of Best Fit’ brings together scientists and improvisors for a show that’s sure to tickle your brain! Come along to hear from expert scientists as they share their research, and then watch the spontaneous reactions of the improvisors as they create scenes inspired by the science.
Featuring two scientists from the University of Sydney – Associate Professor Tanya Latty, showing how we can save the world with insects, and astrophysicist Kovi Rose, talking about the science of stars.
Lines of Best Fit was created as part of Olivia McRae’s PhD project, which explores novel and creative ways of communicating science to the public. As part of her research, Olivia is collecting data at these shows, meaning the performances are filmed and you may be asked to answer some questions. If you would like more information about participating in this research, you can read the Participant Information Statement for audiences.
7pm Saturday 18 Mar 2023 at Improv Theatre Sydney. Tickets $15 for ITS Students, $20 for general public.
