BIG BUNS (Jordy Russo and Tyler Dias) invite you to the screening of their (improvised) short film! Hot off their acclaimed run at Sydney Fringe Festival, Improv du Cinéma is an original format inspired by French New Wave filmmaking that explores the absurdity of the human existence and challenges the prescriptive structure of Hollywood films. It’ll make you laugh, cry, and think – so don’t miss the opening (and closing!) night of your new favourite film.

The Month Before Christmas

In the small town of Frankenmuth, it’s never too soon to put the Christmas tree up! They celebrate for a month with mulled wine on tap, and carollers singing at the first sight of snow. That is until one silent night, when a mysterious newcomer arrives in town and rumour has it, they hate Christmas.

Can this rag-tag town save their beloved Christmas? Is Christmas still worth saving? O’ come all ye faithful to this improvised musical to find out. And perhaps we’ll discover the true meaning of Christmas along the way.
