Edan Lacey

A writer, director, actor and improviser, Edan (he/him) is a two-time National Theatresports champion and has performed at The Adelaide Fringe Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Upright Citizen’s Brigade, The People’s Improv Theatre and iO Chicago.

He has appeared on Aaron Chen Tonight, The Checkout (ABC), The Feed (SBS) and Orange is The New Brown (Channel 7) as well as countless commercials. His directing credits include The Sydney Uni Revue (2018), Susie Youssef’s Owl Eyes On You (MICF) and Aria-award winning Bridie Connell’s music video Saturday Night (And I’m Staying In).

Edan Lacey is a graduate of the Australian Film Television and Radio School, Ecolé Philipe Gaulier and The New Actors Workshop, where he studied under the legendary director Mike Nichols.

He is co-founder and resident director at Improv Theatre Sydney and can be heard monthly on cult hit podcast, The Dragon Friends.
