John Glover

John Glover (he/him) is a stand-up comedian, improviser, MC and experienced marketer. In addition to performing at Improv Theatre Sydney, he is also ITS’ main Marketing man.

John’s debut solo show John Glover Must Die sold out at Sydney Fringe Festival 2022 and he has toured three acclaimed shows at Melbourne International Comedy Festival including Microsoft Orifice and Be My BFFFFFF!. Attracting audiences with his warm, personable and playful style, he’s been described as having “spot-on comic timing” (The Age).

A two-time RAW Comedy NSW State Finalist, John has also starred in Osher Günsberg’s live news satire show NTNNNNN, in the Olympic-satire Breaking The Musical at Edinburgh Fringe, and at comedy clubs across Australia. He was previously in ITS House Team ensembles in all cycles across 2022 – 2023, including Call Your Mother and Bachelor’s Handbag.

Improv loves: Surprising yourself on stage with a character, narrative, or choice in the moment you didn’t know you could do. It’s a wonderful feeling and an even better one to watch in new improv grads.
