Are you a teacher keen to bring improv to your school?

Our teachers regularly work in and with schools to support drama teachers in finding innovative ways to approaching devising projects, creating characters, analysing texts, and more.

What are the deets?

We mix up the groups to form teams of students from different schools, and with the support of a drama teacher from each school, these teams get to experience a 2.5-hour skills workshop in Improvisational Theatre.

We deliver a 2.5 hour workshop, honing participants’ skills and building confidence, followed by a 1-hour showcase, where all teams perform together for an audience of friends, family and peers.

Who can take part?

Any school in NSW!
Schools can register between 3–7 students, and they can be a mix of Years 7–11. A small, mighty squad of improvisers ready to jump in and play.

How much will it cost?

The registration fee will align with what your school usually spends on similar extracurricular activities. We’ll chat with you to land on a fee that fits your school’s budget and makes everyone happy.

Where is it?

We’re hosting the fun right here at Improv Theatre Sydney, 44–54 Botany Rd, Redfern.
