Our teachers regularly work in and with schools to support drama teachers in finding innovative ways to approaching devising projects, creating characters, analysing texts, and more.

Why is an ITS workshop right for you or your school?

Improvisation is grounded in connections, from the initial stimulus to the connection between the ensemble and the audience. ITS specialises in long form improvisation, based on building relationships and creating cohesive narratives all from a single offer.We believe strongly that improvisation facilitates more creative environments, quicker thinking people and better learners. All of our workshops are aligned with the NSW Drama Syllabus (Stages 2-6) and are designed to support in-classroom learning. They assist students to further understand and explore dramatic contexts and form, and the elements of drama. They also help students to develop performance and communication skills, and the ability to work positively in a group. Our workshops give students tools to connect with others, and to build confidence and trust through play and risk taking in a safe environment. We believe these transferable skills improve all facets of life for all young people.
