Tell Your Story
Your story matters. Whatever cultural background or languages you speak, the stories you already hold are of equal importance to the stories you usually see on screen and stage. This session will use improvisation to help you harness your personal truths and experiences in your performance or in theatre making. Here, we will celebrate the richness of the diversity brought into the space by exploring new ways to integrate them into existing improvisational formats that both audiences and performers are familiar with. This session will include group development presentations to put into practice the day’s learnings.
This workshop is recommended for CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) students.
