Saturday Level 1 – Term 4 2024

Find easy ways to access a free flow of ideas, reduce the fear of failure, unleash your storytelling intuition, and have a great time doing it in a supportive, low-stakes environment. This class is great for people who are new to improv, or who are looking to refresh their improv skills with simple, basic fun.

The ITS curriculum is progressive. Level 1 focuses on simple creativity and group mind; Level 2 works on creating scenes through strong character choices and relationships; Level 3 takes your scenework and combines it with stagecraft techniques (and is the first level to have a grad show performance); Level 4 elevates your two-person scenes and culminates in the longform format La Ronde; Level 5 uses the classic format The Harold to explore ensemble and theme; Level 6 takes everything from previous levels and applies it to a range of formats, genres and approaches to improv.
This class is eight weeks long and meets once a week for 2.5 hours.
Registration is $450 / $420 concession. Price includes a 7.8% non-refundable booking fee.
