About the teacher

Since 2007, Daniel Orrantia has been helping improvisers around the world discover the power of play, connection, and storytelling. His workshops create a supportive and inspiring space where participants can take risks, embrace mistakes, and grow together as an ensemble.

Daniel has taught across Europe, the Americas, and Asia — from major festivals to intimate company residencies — and is known for designing experiences that both refresh and challenge performers. His returning collaborations with ensembles worldwide are a testament to his engaging, inventive, and joy-filled approach to improvisation.

Open for improvisers who want to explore tools with curiosity and a sense of adventure. The most important thing isn’t your level of experience, but your willingness to take risks, stay open, and experiment.

This workshop takes place at Improv Theatre Sydney, 44-54 Botany Road, Redfern

Please arrive 10 mins early and ready for the class to start at 6pm.

Please wear comfortable clothes that let you move easily and freely — no big prints or logos. Come with a curious spirit, ready to explore the unknown, follow your impulses, and enjoy the energy of mystery.
