Monday Level 1 – Term 5 2024

Embrace your spontaneity! Find easy ways to access a free flow of ideas, reduce the fear of failure, unleash your storytelling intuition, and have a great time doing it in a supportive, low-stakes environment. This class is great for people who are new to improv, or who are looking to refresh their improv skills with simple, basic fun.

No experience necessary!

The ITS curriculum is progressive. Level 1 focuses on simple creativity and group mind; Level 2 works on creating scenes through strong character choices and relationships; Level 3 takes your scenework and combines it with stagecraft techniques (and is the first level to have a grad show performance); Level 4 elevates your two person scenes and culminates in the longform format La Ronde; Level 5 is a complete performance in the ITS iteration of The Harold; Level 6 uses all previous levels, works on different longform styles, and explores formats and ways of playing.

This class is eight weeks long and meets once a week for 2.5 hours. Want to try before you buy? We hold improv tasters before each term.
