The press junket – a curio of the Hollywood schlock machine. Parades of entertainment reporters bombarding actors with questions to create the almighty “buzz” that their latest project so desperately needs.

But what if everyone got their own press junket? What if Emily Dickinson held a press junket for her new poem? Or Doctor Frankenstein for his latest abomination? Or your nan for her famous casserole recipe?

JUNKITS poses this very question. ITS improvisers imagine unlikely characters in celebrity interviews with a revolving door of entertainment reporters, spinning their responses off into hilarious explorations of their lives & ideas. Also featuring a special guest interviewer in every show from the world of showbiz!
