Lines of Best Fit

‘Lines of Best Fit’ brings together scientists and improvisors for a show that’s sure to tickle your brain! Come along to hear from expert scientists as they share their research, and then watch the spontaneous reactions of the improvisors as they create scenes inspired by the science.

Featuring Associate Professor Cameron Webb from NSW Health Pathology, talking about mosquitoes and wetlands, and sleep researcher Vanessa Hill from CQ University.

Lines of Best Fit was created as part of Olivia McRae’s PhD project, which explores novel and creative ways of communicating science to the public. As part of her research, Olivia is collecting data at these shows, meaning the performances are filmed and you may be asked to answer some questions.
