ITS A Streetcar Named Hot Tin Menagerie MICF (CANCELLED)

After a sold out run at the 2019 Sydney Fringe, we’re bringing A Streetcar Named Hot Tin Menagerie to the 2020 Melbourne International Comedy Festival! We’ll create a new one-act play live onstage every night, in a cheeky tribute to the much-loved plays of the great American playwright Tennessee Williams.

Based off a single audience suggestion, we’ll weave a complex web of tragedy, romance, and questionable accents. Grab a mint julep, bury your secrets, and let ITS transport you to the baking heat of a sultry Louisiana night.

“The performance was equal parts true to the style of playwright Tennessee Williams and playful in its interpretation… a really enjoyable and feel-good night at the theatre.” Theatre Travels
