Inbal Lori: The Rodsky Method

This workshop is a game changer. It teaches you what it really means to be “in the moment”, how to bridge the gap between the “stuck improviser” and the character on stage. It shows how easy we found ourselves in an “Avatar mod”- a mod in which our body/character stays abandoned on stage as our brain is somewhere else trying to “figure things out”.

Inbal Lori invites you to explore the following goals:

• Having the improviser and character be one on stage at all times
• To never get stuck
• To feel what it means to be free on stage and use every difficulty/ obstacle/ “problem” as an opportunity to find out the next depth of the story.
• To use your breath so every moment is full of aliveness and presents.

About Inbal Lori

Inbal Lori is a graduate of art high school in the theater department (1994) and the Nisan Nativ acting studio (2000).
Since then She writes and acts for television and theater and has won prizes and scholarships for her acting and writing.
Inbal started improvising in 2001. In 2015 Inbal moved to Berlin and since then she is teaching and performing all over the world in places like: the U.S.A, Canada, Australia, Colombia, Japan, Nigeria and all over Europe. As of 2025 she is the artistic director of the “Berlin Impro Festival”. In a business context Inbal is working and coaching companies like: Spotify, Disney, EY, Doberman, McKinsey, Rolls Royce and more.

Workshops are for improvisors with 1 year or more experience and are not suitable for newcomers. 

NOTE: The workshop will have short intervals of meditation. If you have never tried meditation before, it is not a problem at all. However, if for some reason you are triggered or feel extremely uncomfortable in this kind of situation, please consider not registering for this workshop.

Please arrive 10 mins early and ready for the class to start at 10am. Wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in and anything you need to remain hydrated and energised through the class.
