The Improv Playground: Under 18s Show + Workshop
This show & workshop is part of the ITS Comedy Festival 2024.
Calling all school drama students and teachers!
In this 30-min show and 1-hour workshop, you’ll deepen your understanding of long-form improvisation, and explore how to bring collaboration and spontaneous play to your classroom drama projects! Watch a top-notch example of improvised long-form theatre from Improv Theatre Sydney’s very own faculty, followed by a fun and practical workshop.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of making, accepting and extending offers, and find new ways to collaborate dynamically within an ensemble to stage your own devised works.

The cast & teachers
Our cast and workshop facilitators are regular performers and faculty at Improv Theatre Sydney. They have loads of experience teaching and working with young people right across Australia, and all have a current Working With Children Check.
In this workshop, our cast and teachers are:
Date & Time: Monday 11th November, 4:30pm – 6:00pm
Length: 90 mins (30-minute show, 1 hour workshop)
Location: Improv Theatre Sydney, 45-55 Botany Rd, Redfern. (There is 1 hour street parking available on Botany Rd for pick-up and drop off.)
Cost: $15 per person for both show & workshop

We are at 44-54 Botany Road, Redfern, 2016
ITS is wheelchair accessible, with one small step to get into the space.
There is street parking in the streets surrounding the venue.
Redfern Station is a 10 minute walk away.
