Impro sensorial with Andrea Ferpo

All the way from Peru, join actress and improviser Andrea Ferpo for Impro Sensorial, where we’ll explores the possibilities of connecting our senses and our emotions!

We’ll look at making offers based on sensory details, life experiences, personal anecdotes, and find new ways to link bring out emotions in our acting. Rather than straying too far from ourselves to invent ideas, we’ll find innovative scenes and offers by discovering the inexhaustible universe of creative material that we all have. We will also increase our awareness of emotional expression and resonance, and respond to sensory stimulation while improvising.

This workshop seeks to become a space with the security and freedom to express the realities we dream of, giving them life through an improvised stage.

Students will need a notebook, an object that reflects them, comfortable clothing and a bottle of water.

Andrea Ferpo is an Actress, Improv teacher and Psychodrama therapist graduated in Buenos Aires,
Argentina. Director of Marandí arte escénico, a multidisciplinary school and an artistic company in Lima, Perú.

This workshop is aimed at people with or without experience in Improv who seek to grow their sensory and poetic language on stage. Some performance experience is desirable but not essential.

This is a 6 hour Workshop over 2 days, 3hrs per session. This workshop will meet at Improv Theatre Sydney.

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 Oct, 10am – 1pm.
