Entering Your Villain Era

THE WORKSHOP

It’s time to move beyond playing boring, nicey-nicey characters. Enter your villain era and learn to create dark and captivating characters that will spice up your shows. In this workshop, you will channel your inner baddie and work on what makes a villain tick. You will also learn how to develop physical villainous characteristics and safe stage movements in a showdown. Dramatic hair-pulling, killing, dying, and famous last words included! Bring out the antagonist you always wanted to be – or perhaps the one you already are…bwahaha!

THE TEACHER

Janette started acting at a young age, having the unique experience of being in TV shows and films in the Philippines. She has been performing improv with Big Fork Theatre in Brisbane since 2015. She regularly teaches and has produced shows for improv festivals in Brisbane, Auckland, and Manila. Janette is excited to introduce participants to dramatic acting methods in their character development and scene work.
