All of history is just stories we tell each other to make sense of the world. Some of these stories pass us by but some stay with us, mixing and merging to become what we remember as history.

In this solo show, Matt Powell combines stories from his own past with the weird and wonderful facts you know from history. Did Napoleon really eat three chickens a day? Did the designer of London’s Great Exhibition also invent the Christmas card?

Go Sip Girl

Hello Inner West Siders! Inspired by Chicago’s Hitchcoktails, Go Sip Girl is an improvised teen soap that only a strong drink will get you through. The improvisers will be drinking throughout the performance, so audiences and players alike will be thinking: where the hell is this going??? With tropes from shows like Gossip Girl, Glee, Riverdale, and Pretty Little Liars, this show uses familiar characters and settings and then takes them shaken, not stirred. With its drinking twist, the show is unlike anything in Sydney at the moment! Come and see if the plot can get any crazier than whatever was happening on Riverdale (RIP).
