Welcome to the family! GyG: Gordita y Gordito is a playful, heartwarming show that dives into the hilarious, messy, and tender dynamics of a multicultural family. With roots stretching across Latin America, Asia, and Australia/New Zealand, the show mixes cultures, languages, and traditions to create a joyful mash-up of perspectives.

Inspired by the popular Comedy World League game Meet the Parents, Gordita y Gordito explores what happens when multicultural families collide. Debuting their Tinyprov showcase in the 2025 Brisbane Improv Festival, Matías Avaca and Janette McBride will perform as multiple family members in this bold and hilarious show. BJN (Alex Reynolds and John Glover) are back at it with special guests Michelle Robin Anderson and Sam Downing. Like any good naturalist (Steve Irwin, Charles Darwin) we’ve been studying the relationship between organisms and their natural environment and Big Juicy Naturalists wanna know if you want us to fuck of fight?
