Observational, sometimes satirical and always silly, Gridlocked is a show that serves a big helping of short sketches about modern city life. In 25 minutes we’ll create a world that could be downtown Sydney, if more of its kooky was showing.

It’s like a succession of green lights on the morning commute: unexpected, exciting and something you’ll tell everyone about… until someone in the group chat sends a meme.

HOW MANY HALVES CAN WE FIT IN ONE WHOLE SHOW?

A “best-of” collection of Brisbane sketch comedy brought to you in a split bill that simply won’t stop splitting. Amidst this Sunshine State chaos, you’ll enjoy an endless fractal of characters determined to split their stage time.

This burst of sketch comedy is comprised of only the finest material that earned the heartiest laughs from audiences across the Brisbane Comedy Festival, Anywhere Festival, Big Fork Sketch Fest and more. Queenslanders are notoriously serious and understated, so a flourishing debut means that these sketches have earned a place on the Infinite Split Bill.

Infinite Split Bill is a creation by Liz Talbot, comedian, writer and improviser from Meanjin/Brisbane.
