One of Improv Theatre Sydney’s original house teams reunites for a special service of made up scenes. Built from the rapport of many years working (playing) together in kitchens (stages)… watch as these skilled cooks (fools) concoct together a feast of fun that will have you screaming “Yes Chef!”

JOHN COMEDY

John Comedy is a tight-knit group of Brisbane’s only four comedians*, putting their best game into every scene.
They take your dumb thoughts and turn them into hilarious scenes all created on the spot before your beautiful eyes. Gosh, did we mention how beautiful your eyes are?
Each performance is like your favourite sketch show, except there is no script to fall back on. Think of shows like Portlandia – but done completely on the fly!
This 6 times cage match winning ensemble and 2025 Big Fork Comedy Festival performers focus on finding organic games in their scenes, John Comedy weaves together hilarious scenes as they explore, and often ruin, their character’s worlds. John Comedy, Game on!
